Wordless Wednesday: The Ohio Four find their groove

For those that recall our first ill-fated photo shoot of the Ohio Four at Like Cub Scouts Tanked on Mountain Dew, I am just filled to bursting with pride to show you that we can indeed get these little squirrels together in one photo.

Sure, they’re older and wiser now after three weeks. Heck, we all are. And we puppy raisers of the Ohio Four have been working hard to find our groove with our new charges. Each one unique in personality, temperament and energy level.

From left to right – Ella, Emma, Everett and Euka at eleven weeks old.  Being raised for Canine Companions for Independence.

  9. Hey Gizmo, Happy WW. Yeah, this is one of my favorite things about puppy raising – seeing their personalities take shape. The pups are different in the home environment than they are when interacting with their littermates. It's fascinating to watch them.

  10. Thanks, Roxy. But you know, they need to be stinkin' cute. It helps them to get away with some puppy naughtiness from time to time.

  11. Hi Leigh Anne, I would have replied to your comment sooner, but I had to save my leather boot from some adorable puppy teeth. Ah, my fault for not putting them away. I'll learn someday.

  14. Hi Grammypuppywatcher, I'm so glad you're following the puppies here on the dog blog. This is going to be an incredible journey with these little furry miracles. I'm loving that this time around I was able to see Euka literally from the beginning. We usually meet our puppies for the first time at eight weeks old.

  16. I'm sure gonna try! We've never had four CCI littermates raised in my local area before, so I'm pretty jazzed about getting photos of the E's together when I can. Thanks for being part of their journey.

  17. Those darn squirrels, you know they're just up there sitting on a branch laughing at you dogs. Neener neener, they say. Such teases.

Thanks for coming by on WW this week, Maggie.
